The work was presented on Urban Pedestals a public space exhibition held in Helsinki. The concept of the exhibition was to use the elasticity boxes placed on the street as pedestals for art works. I used an elasticity box on the corner of Fleminginkatu and Helsinginkatu for my contribution to the show. Actual I did not use the box but chose to use a small area of the pavement surrounding the box, and in this area I dropped number of small diamonds.
It is a very discreet piece and an act which most of all exists through word of mouth as the diamonds was dropped in a quietly manner. People passing by will probably not pay any attention to the diamonds they might notice something glinting in the sun but consider it as piece of broken glass or the glints from the pavements constituents.
